ALS Identify is growing, and we’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our finance team in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15. It’s a full-time, permanent role with real variety, hands-on training and a clear path to progress. No accounts experience? That’s okay. ALS Identify designs and builds custom automatic labelling, conveyor, and Auto-ID systems. We’re an award-winning Irish business with in-house expertise across printing, labelling, verification, conveyors, and servicing, and we work with global brands such as Novexx, Zebra, LogoPak, Easy Conveyor, Keyence and more.
Our customers range from multinationals to small artisan producers, across food and drink, pharma and medical devices, personal care, agriculture and general manufacturing. We run an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality system and pride ourselves on excellent aftercare.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll work closely with our Finance Manager, supporting four areas of the business. No two days are quite the same, so it suits someone who likes variety and can juggle priorities.
- Accounts payable: processing supplier invoices, raising purchase orders, preparing payment runs and reconciling supplier accounts.
- Accounts receivable: issuing customer quotes, invoices and credit notes, reconciling accounts and handling credit control.
- Orders and shipping: processing customer orders, coordinating picking, packing and dispatch, and keeping customers updated.
- Finance and admin: helping with month-end and reconciliations, flagging discrepancies, and supporting projects across the team.
The basics: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00, on site in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.
Who we’re looking for
Previous accounts experience is a bonus, not a must, because we’ll train you. What matters most is how you work:
- Fluent English and great communication skills
- Good with numbers, with a sharp eye for detail
- Organised, reliable and able to prioritise
- Happy working independently and as part of a small team
- Confident with Excel, Word and Outlook
Experience with accounting software or a CRM, a relevant qualification, or simply the drive to progress will all help you stand out.
