Who We Are?

We are a team of mechanical, electrical and design engineers with over 30 years’ experience in end of line automation, particularly in the labelling, vision, and conveyor space.

ALS Identify has been owned and operated by Pat Phibbs since 2007. Padraig Dolan, our technical sales manager, and Sara Farrelly, our commercial manager have been by Pat’s side helping the business to grow and to ensure we have great relationships with customers who keep coming back. In 2023, we moved into a larger premises to enable us to take on more work. We also acquired Metal Masters in 2024, leaders in custom conveyor system manufacturing to enhance our in-house offering. Now we have a full solution built on site at our Dublin workshop. Our rebrand from ALS Labelling Solutions to ALS Identify represents this full offering.

We have built our reputation not only on supplying quality systems but also on the excellent after sales service and support that we provide. This is entirely down to the calibre of people we employ and the dedication they have to solving our customers challenges. This has lead to a significant increase in our team over the last couple of years and at the moment we have 24 employees between the workshop, the back office, and the service team.

With over 30 years of experience in the labelling industry, we design and build custom solutions for a range of clients. From global multinational organizations to home grown Irish businesses, we have a solution to fit your budget and your needs. We work in partnership with our customers from consultation right though to installation and regular maintenance. We can build and supply standalone systems, or integrate into an existing system. We also stock a wide range of labelling materials such as labels, ribbons, and inks.

Here at Aurivo Co-Op’s Feedmill in Ballaghaderreen, we have been working with ALS since 2004. We have their labelling systems on two packing lines.
